BUCKWILD is your home for casually inventive equestrian sportswear.
As creators of BUCKWILD, we are longtime friends and business partners with an extreme and undying penchant for equestrian sport. We are participants in the show ring, and admirers and seekers of the ultimate understanding between our mounts and ourselves. We have been grooms, barn managers and "A" circuit braiders. We've sold a few good ones and bought a few bad ones. We remember when the USA brought home the gold in 1986, and we were in Vegas to see Meredith and Shutterfly reign triumphant in 2005.
And so... it is fondness, affection and a healthy dose of humor for our sport that has led to the genesis of BUCKWILD. We celebrate the lighter side of the horse show world, but you won't find any t-shirts with outdated phrases like, "Hunters do it with style" and "I hate horse shows." Instead we pay tribute to all of the characters who make horse showing what it is today -- to dad, the CEO of the show bill; to every loose Jack Russell that dared to cross the dotted line; and alas, to those second-place finishers who, most certainly, were robbed of their rightful blue.
BUCKWILD is about two strides and a chip-in left of center, but make no mistake where our heart is. It is with every horse with enough heart to leave out the stride because he was asked to. It is with every rider who schooled poorly at home, only to arrive in the show ring and lay down the perfect trip. It is with every short stirrup hopeful whose only dream is just one small pony away.
